HEALTHCARE
In November of 2023 Ohioans made it clear at the ballot box that abortion is not a decision that politicians should make for us, and I plan to be steadfast in upholding that decision. I am committed to protecting reproductive rights against legislative attempts to undermine them, ensuring comprehensive healthcare access, and advancing women's health rights.
ENERGY &
ENVIRONMENT
Ohio's natural environment is a cornerstone of our state's identity, and I vow to defend our environment by advocating for expanded protections and investments in clean energy. Short-term solutions like fracking under state parks just don't work, and that's why I'll emphasize sustainable energy to cut costs and protect our land, water, and air for future generations.
EDUCATION
I believe everyone has a right to a good public education. End of story. I support strengthening public schools and expanding access to trade schools and community colleges to build the workforce of tomorrow. We can't keep diverting funds to private schools through vouchers - we must advocate for investments in education as the foundation for our future in Ohio.
ECONOMY &
LABOR RIGHTS
Our region is built on industry, and I'm dedicated to revitalizing our district and our state's economy through public works, supporting union jobs, and incentivizing economic opportunities that benefit all Ohioans. I support the construction a direct route from Toledo to Columbus, connecting more people in our region to high-quality, well-paying jobs.
PROTECTING
OUR FAMILIES
Families around the state have suffered the heartbreak of seeing the state intrude upon the lives and happiness of their loved ones. Especially in response to attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, I stand with our families in opposition to government overreach into personal family decisions. I will call for policies that support and protect the rights of all Ohioans and their families, regardless of who they might be or who they might love.
